Preparation of model to production

Preliminary models are made of plastic. We place them into cardboard boxes.

To take off pleliminary rubber form ,we should use this one "liquid rubber".

Then we pour out part B into plastic dish.

After that we add there part A in proportion 1/10.

Then we mix rubber up with glass stick.

Now we should vacuumize this mixture to remove bubbles of air from it.

And we pour out the mixture into boxes and vacuumize again. Then we don't touch it during 24 hours.

Put away cardboard box and everything is ready!

Now we should cut our preliminary rubber form

We can see the first outlines.

We have taken out our plastic models from the forms.

Next we should made wax copies of our models ,with which we can work later. To do it we will need an injector, where wax is under pressure in melted form.

Then the rubber form is worked out by talc.

After that it is clipped by two platens

and pressed down to the valve of injector. Wax permeates inside the rubber.

When it cools it looks so. Now we can prepare the wax model to further work. After preparation the wax model is send to the metal casting.

Such metal models are ready after casting. They will be pendants and findings for jewelleries in the future. Everything is almost ready.

There is a rubber in the metal frame, it is not vulcanised yet,so you can work with it as a plasticine. We placed our lilies in it.

And add rubber at the top.

Then ram it down carefully.

Vice it at the vulcanising press. The temperature is 150 degrees ,the time is 45 minutes.

And retrieve so small brick from durable and flexible rubber.

We should again cut it. It is cut down shaggily expressly to prevent displacement of two halves of rubber form while wax injection. Well, everything is ready, now we can start production.
